About 2,000 people have marched through central Sydney as part of a national day of protest action on global warming. The Nature Conservation Council's Kate Faehrmann told the protesters the Federal Government is currently deciding the targets for its carbon pollution reduction scheme. She told the rally that powerful industry lobby groups are pushing for targets which would compromise environmental outcomes.
